Forget actually having to ski down the mountain. This season, we’re having fun with a variety of cold weather–inspired fashions that are well suited for a variety of snow-filled settings, whether you’re cozying up at the Caldera House in Jackson Hole for some après, or ready to join the scene in St. Moritz for the start of snow polo season. Of course, if you need to get down the mountain after an afternoon at Cloud Nine, many of these items can help you get the job done—even if you’re sprinkled in champagne.
-
Call it a “shawl,” use it as a blanket. We won’t tell. Part of Bally’s Curling Collection, this St. Moritz wool jacquard shawl gives a nod to the brand’s Swiss heritage with a St. Moritz graphic, featuring lettering and iconic Swiss bears.

Whether you’re in Vail or Val d’Isère, there’s no excuse for sacrificing style for warmth. Cozy up with Balmain’s wool and faux fur jacket, complete with gold-embossed buttons and a cropped, boxy cut that looks great over ski pants or a mini-skirt.
-
We love an elevated basic. Chloé and Moon Boot have teamed up for a sartorial combination of calfskin and shearling, complete with tricolor tassels, hiking boot laces, and puffy insulation.
-
One of our favorite things about visiting Aspen? Guaranteed sweater weather. Don Lafayette 148’s cashmere-mohair alpaca rabbit sweater under a puffer this winter, and when you head back to the hills in early summer, toss it over your shoulders to keep you warm during dinner at Casa Tua.
-
Just as important as layering up your clothing, layers of facial protection are also essential. Maximize moisture to your visage with Le Labo’s basil face lotion. The lightweight formula is surprisingly nourishing, while the packaging also won’t weigh down your toiletry bag.
-
So chic, no one will notice your post-ski helmet hair. Loro Piana’s Alaskan Hat is made from lightweight technical fabric that feels like silk, while keeping your head warm and your outfit stylish.
-
Don’t go on this year’s slopes in last year’s puffer. Update your most important ski layer with Moncler’s Hanau Sahort down jacket in on-trend silver.
-
It’s admittedly hard to get excited about ski goggles. Unless they’re from Moncler. Their unisex Terrabeam ski goggles in shiny black with an iridescent aqua green lens help us feel sunny and bright even when it’s a white out.
-
Nylon is for the gym. Raffia is for the Riviera. Shearling is for the slopes. Round-out your wardrobe with Prada’s fluffy and fuzzy triangle-shaped mini-bag in cozy shearling.
-
The one thing that can help make your helmet-and-goggle ensemble more attractive? A great lip. Put your money where your mouth is and invest in Santa Maria Novella’s lip moisturizer, made with resins, butters, and natural waxes to prevent cracks from the sun, wind, and cold.

Athleisure doesn’t cut it at Carpaccio, and it definitely doesn’t cut it at Courcheval. Elevate your legwear with Wolford’s Thermal Leggings, made with a temperature-regulating material designed to block out the cold and a logo elastic band at the sides.
-
Visit the Swiss Alps from your sofa with Assouline’s new tome, Gstaad Glam, which delves into the stylish town’s exclusive ski clubs and opulent charms.

If you can walk down Main Street in stilettos, good for you. For the rest of us, there’s Fendi’s special edition Domino biker boots, complete with a nylon top and rubber lug sole and featuring the Italian brand’s signature Baguette pocket on the side, a nod to the bag’s 25th anniversary.
