The second annual ICE CREAM WE LOVE event at Bal Harbour Shops was a sensationally sweet success. Over the course of two days, the event welcomed more than one thousand attendees with all proceeds given to Holtz Children’s Hospital.
Guests indulged in sweet treats from national ice cream makers including Ample Hills Creamery, DŌ, Cookie Dough Confections and Izzy’s Ice Cream as well as a host of local, artisanal ice cream makers and shops such as Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor, Le Sirenuse Miami, Cielito Artisan Pops, Dasher & Crank, Sweet Guilt, The Melted Scoop and so much more.
Books & Books got in on the fun with author chats from children’s favorites The Hungry Caterpillar, Just Being Jackie and Terrible Two. The boutique bookstore also offered a special appearance by The New York Times bestselling author for award-winning books for children, Mac Barnett, who presented his latest book Terrible Two.
ICE CREAM WE LOVE honors the legacy of Bal Harbour Shops founder, Stanley Whitman, who was a longstanding supporter of Holtz Children’s Hospital and who was an avid ice cream enthusiast himself.
