On January 12th and 13th, Jackson Health Foundation raised more than $79K at its 2nd annual “Ice Cream We Love” event hosted at Bal Harbour Shops. The weekend festivities supported Holtz Children’s Hospital at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. The event was a sensationally sweet success with more than 1200 guests in attendance.
The weekend-long event celebrated the legacy of Bal Harbour Shops founder, Stanley Whitman, who was a longstanding supporter of Holtz Children’s Hospital and lover of ice cream. With the support of Jackson Health Foundation, all proceeds from ticket sales benefitted Holtz Children’s Hospital, supporting its mission to enhance and expand its pediatric specialty programs. Holtz Children’s Hospital prides itself on treating the diverse needs of its children and extends its generosity to national and international children with critical illnesses.
