Transforming into an unparalleled epicurean destination, Bal Harbour Village will be the first United States host to Haute Cuisine, a four-day event that introduces guests to six of the world’s most distinguished chefs who between them have been awarded nine Michelin stars. Created in Switzerland at the W Verbier in 2015, Haute Cuisine will kick off on Wednesday evening, May 8th in the center courtyard at Bal Harbour Shops. Throughout the four days, there will be opportunities to attend one of the six intimate cooking classes—each led by one of the Michelin star chefs, as well as one of the four exclusive curated dinners prepared by these world-renowned chefs hosted in Bal Harbour’s celebrated restaurants.
Following the kick-off cocktail reception in the center courtyard of the Shops, you will have the opportunity to attend the Fashion-Themed dinner at French gem Le Zoo Bal Harbour spearheaded by famed restaurateur Stephen Starr. The globally inspired menu will be crafted by Chefs Jacques Pourcel, Thierry Drapeau and Alain Caron hailing from France and the Netherlands.
Gourmet lovers will have the extraordinary opportunity to learn from and indulge in the talents of six prestigious chefs, including: “Michelin star master” Jacques Pourcel from southern France, “rock star chef” Sergi Arola, Thierry Drapeau known for his brightly colored “floral cuisine”, mastermind of culinary fusion Joel Cesari, Jean-Baptiste Natali—who is the youngest chef to be awarded a Michelin star and internationally recognized judge of MasterChef Holland Alain Caron.
