A look from Fabiana Filippi Fall ‘22 collection.

By Rachel LeWinter

Fabiana Filippi is known for its elegant and sophisticated womenswear that focus on high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The new fall collection was inspired by the Brutalist architectural movement, and the campaign was shot against a stunning example of this design movement by Oscar Niemeyer. The collection takes the minimalist aesthetic of Brutalism and combines it with a contemporary take on the brand’s classic style. Always rooted in timeless investment pieces, the collection is an assemblage of refined silhouettes that you’ll want to wear on repeat, and keep forever.

  1. Tan long coat with tie waist
Consider this the hero standout garment of the collection—and of your wardrobe. This maxi-length coat is made from buttery-soft cashmere. A chunky knitted hood adds a modern touch to the design, while two slit pockets and a wide belt are practical additions.
  2. Tan colored long sleeve turtle neck dress
Ever wish you could wear sweats all day and get away with it? Now you can. Filippi combines the comfort of your favorite sweater with the sophisticated shape of a casual knit dress.
  3. black boots
Lug-sole boots are a fall wardrobe essential, and these chunky leather kicks will have you stomping around in style. The side elastic stripes feature a touch of metallic giving them a glam edge.
  4. black coat
Not all heroes wear capes, but we think you should. The cape is one of Filippi’s symbolic garments, and this updated version is made in a sumptuous cashmere fabric you’ll never want to take off—but the open model style makes it easy to do so.
  5. black sleeveless dress with braided waist belt
The LBD gets a much-needed upgrade with this viscose crepe sablé design. An eye-catching floral brooch with feather accents on the neckline gives it a romantic sensibility. A removable leather belt adds to its versatility.
  6. Mustard colored long sleeve midi dress
The menswear-inspired shirt-dress receives an ultra-feminine makeover. The frock’s midi-length silk satin material can easily be dressed up or down: Pair it with a blazer for work, or unbutton the neckline and add heels for night on the town.
  7. mustard heeled booties
Go bold with your boots this season. Trust us, these sunny-yellow stunners will instantly add a boost to any outfit.
  8. Tan colored blouse with flower detail at the collar
Filippi turns a classic cream top into a work of art with the addition of a sculptural floral brooch. The oversized fit exudes a simple elegance, and bonus points: it’s made of sustainable materials.
  9. tan colored high waisted pants
Everyone needs a pair of classically tailored trousers in their wardrobe. This wide-leg pick stands out with its fluid fabric and strategically-placed flattering pleats.
  10. rhinestone encrusted heeled sandals
These ankle-strap sandals will be the reason you’re going out this season. Neutral with a bit of sparkle, they go with just about everything.
