Class of Palm Beach founder Devorah Ezagui
With a simple exclamation, “Love your outfit!” an Instagram legend was born. Meet Devorah Ezagui, founder of Class of Palm Beach, chronicler of the fabulous fashions of Florida’s toniest town. By simply asking “Can you tell us what you’re wearing?” the Palm Beach native has captured the attention of hundreds of thousands of followers (in about 18 months) and now has many locals lingering around some of her most frequent haunts, hoping to be noticed. “It’s about more than just having a great Birkin,” says Ezagui. “It’s the energy of the person. How they carry themselves. It’s just an inherent kind of forward elegance, a specific confidence… a kind of timeless appeal. You can’t always articulate it, but you know—and feel it—when you see it.”
Clearly, Ezagui isn’t the only one who sees it. With a following of nearly 670,000, her fans love her willingness to approach anyone in a way that feels bold without being brazen. “The first time I walked up to someone, it was just this woman outside of Saks who was dressed like Jane Birkin, wearing a white sweater and matching pants and carrying an Yves Klein–blue Birkin,” she recalls. “She also had on some amazing diamonds. I asked her to let me take a video of her, and it got huge numbers. The following grew from there pretty quickly.”

Ezagui’s sharp eye has captured the attention of nearly 670,000 followers.
Before that first video hit in March 2023, Ezagui had spent nine years living in New York City, doing creative marketing for brands including Net-a-Porter, Intermix, and Ssense. Her decision to move back to Palm Beach wasn’t as intentional as it was organic. “It was during Covid, and everyone was working remotely. My lease was up, so I just hopped on a flight back to Palm Beach, not even sure I was really moving,” she says.
Ezagui, who also styles private clients on her own, recognizes how much the quietly luxurious Palm Beach of her childhood has gotten louder. “The city has been building and developing so much, and it’s also gotten a bit flashier than it was pre-Covid. Not like Chrome Hearts–flashy—personally, I’m a Chrome Hearts girl, but it’s not here yet—but like pink Rolls- Royce–and-pink Versace–flashy.”
And just as Palm Beach has boomed, so has her following. “I do get recognized. Ironically, people on the street will hear me talk, and they’ll ask, Are you that girl that says ‘What are you wearing?’”

Ezagui notes that what gets her attention is “More than just having a great Birkin. It’s the energy of the person. How they carry themselves.”
Professional Opinion
With her well-honed eye for style— both as a chronicler of street style and a personal stylist—Ezagui’s sartorial sense is undeniable. Capture some of her fashion secrets below.
What’s your daily uniform?
My outfit typically includes a crisp white button-down from Brunello Cucinelli or The Row. I’ll pair that with a good pair of jeans. Depending on my mood, I’ll choose between kitten heels, sneakers, or loafers, and if it’s a bit cooler, I might add a lightweight blazer from Eleventy, or a cashmere cardigan from Loro Piana.
What do you wear while in the field?
I don’t set specific days for interviews, so I wear whatever I’m feeling that day. Comfort is key, but I believe a well-tailored outfit always maintains a polished appearance.
What are some recent purchases you’re excited about?
I do most of my shopping in New York, Paris, and Milan. I just got an amazing chocolate-brown Hermès leather jacket, Chanel patent leather boots, Prada pointy heels, and stocked up on wool bustiers from Ermanno Scervino. The fit is unbelievable.
What are your favorite statement-making shoes?
I gravitate towards Amina Muaddi, Saint Laurent, or Rene Caovilla. I prefer a sleek and sophisticated look that adds a sexy edge.
How about bags?
I like to coordinate based on complementary colors and textures. A woven bag from Bottega Veneta, a classic vintage Chanel, or an oversized vintage YSL are my favorites.
You’re on the road a lot. What’s your go-to suitcase?
Rimowa, both the Cabin and Trunk versions, are practical choices. The Trunk is perfect for when I tend to overpack—or want to leave room for extra shopping.
How do you dress when you’re in Palm Beach, as opposed to in Milan or Paris?
During Palm Beach summers, I lean towards simple linen trousers paired with tanks, knitted or lace tops, and my sunglasses from Celine, Saint Laurent, or Chanel. I might add some fun summer jewelry; pearls and beaded bracelets keep the look playful. In Milan or Paris, I opt for more structured pieces, often a tailored blazer from Saint Laurent or an oversized one, depending on my bottoms—jeans or trousers—paired with bold. accessories and fun sneakers, ranging from Miu Miu to Jordans, or sleek boots from Chanel.
Favorite fragrances?
Recently, I’ve been wearing my own fragrance that I created with Class of Palm Beach, which was crafted in Italy and will launch shortly. At home, I love Diptyque candles, especially the Baies scent, which creates the perfect ambiance.
Where in the world are you eager to visit?
I would love to stay at Singapore’s Raffles hotel for its historical charm. In Japan, Aman Tokyo is on my list, but I’m also keen on discovering some boutique hotels.

What’s your go-to travel outfit?
For longer flights, it’s joggers from Nili Lotan, a good tank from James Perse, and a long cardigan from A.P.C. I am really into up-and- coming brands from new artists and always love repping those. It’s all about comfort and style while traveling, paired with good sneakers, whether Asics or New Balance.
Favorite finds for the home?
I love my Frette sheets for their comfort, and my Haremlique robe is perfect for those cozy mornings or relaxing evenings while doing some computer work and winding down.
