Gucci enters its next era. As the Italian house first established in 1921 has had its shuffle of talent in recent years, they’ve just appointed Demna as creative director. The 43-year-old spent the last ten years at Balenciaga and is also responsible for co-founding cult-favorite label Vetements in 2014. In a press release from Gucci and its parent company Kering, the brand states that Demna “has redefined modern luxury, earning global recognition and cementing his authority on the industry.”
