Blue Steel

Who doesn’t need a little extra serenity these days? There’s no better way of getting that peace of mind than bringing a little blue into your life. At Bal Harbour Shops we believe in “more is more,” so might we suggest this blue leather ensemble from Salvatore Ferragamo to bring that charge of serenity—and confidence—into your day?

Winter White

Fendi is on a winning streak. While the Roman fashion house has held our hearts for decades, we’ve been positively swooning ever since Kim Jones took the artistic helm. His take on winter whites couldn’t be more on point than this monogrammed mink bomber jacket paired with monogrammed denim shorts.

We’ve Got the Blues

So, we’ve already covered the calming effect that blue brings to the table, so let’s just focus on the versatility of this particular shade of royal blue— especially in the hands of Stella McCartney. The shade pairs well with other colors, and you might want to add some heft to your look by accessorizing with black. At once sporty and sophisticated, it’s hard not to be transfixed by the power of this pigment.

Down to Earth

Fall calls for a little muted moment every now and then. When you aren’t in need of a big burst of color, but you nonetheless want to stand your sartorial ground, turn to a neutral palette and you’ll always be right on tone. Kiton’s checkered silk dress topped with a cozy lambskin jacket strikes a perfect balance of structure and sensuality.

Gucci enters its next era. As the Italian house first established in 1921 has had its shuffle of talent in recent years, they’ve just appointed Demna as creative director. The 43-year-old spent the last ten years at Balenciaga and is also responsible for co-founding cult-favorite label Vetements in 2014. In a press release from Gucci and its parent company Kering, the brand states that Demna “has redefined modern luxury, earning global recognition and cementing his authority on the industry.”
