The Bal Harbour Shops Access Pop-up Tour, the first-ever traveling luxury retail event, is now open at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin in Miramar Beach, Florida. Through July 18, residents and visitors to this idyllic seaside community can enjoy the iconic Bal Harbour Shops tropical luxury experience.
For the first four weeks of the Pop-up, shop esteemed brands such as Assouline, Cremieux, Dolce and Gabbana, Etro, Golden Goose, Lanvin, Santa Maria Novella, Silvia Tcherassi, Tiffany & Co., and Vilebrequin. While the last four weeks will feature Addict, Assouline, Bonpoint, Eleventy, Golden Goose, Marie France Van Damme, Orlebar Brown, Scanlan Theodore, Tiffany & Co., and Veronica Beard, amongst others.
“We’re thrilled to bring the tropical luxury shopping and dining experience of Bal Harbour to South Walton for the first time,” said Matthew Whitman Lazenby, President and Chief Executive Officer of Whitman Family Development. “With this roving Pop-up, we introduce a new and innovative solution at the crossroads of high-touch personal service and high-tech logistics to deliver on our mission and impact and impress our guests with our distinctive level of excellence.”
Designed by internationally acclaimed architecture firm LOT-EK, the Access Pop-up is a 17,000-square-foot project comprised of 30 custom-built shipping containers bridged by covered walkways with fans, a retractable canopy, and a fine dining restaurant called “The Whitman” with a full bar and lounge. The environment—replete with Koi ponds, fountains, and planters filled with lush greenery—brings the entire tropical, Zen-like atmosphere of Bal Harbour Shops to life.
As the third stop on the Access Pop-up Tour, the South Walton Pop-up, located on Grand Boulevard’s North Lawn, promises to bring a mix of luxury, fashion, and dining that Bal Harbour is known for, but with a touch of unique coastal elegance that can only be found in South Walton. Over the course of its residency, the Pop-up will host weekly events, including a weekday Happy Hour, High-Tea Tuesdays, Après Golf: A Gentleman’s Happy Hour on Thursdays, and a lavish Sunday Brunch.
There will be two other signature events hosted by the Pop-up throughout the summer including “Beach Basel” on Tuesday, June 25 benefiting the Cultural Arts Alliance and “A Floral Farewell Fete: An Evening with the Symphony” on Wednesday, July 17 benefiting Sinfonia Gulf Coast.
