Known for making the finest fabrics in the world, Brunello Cucinelli expands its Italian presence in the newly 4,000 square foot renovated Bal Harbour boutique dedicated to chic leisure and lifestyle. The international $500 million a year company began with one man’s dream and a $500 loan.
Brunello Cucinelli was born near Solomeo in 1953 and grew up in a house with no running water or electricity. Inspired by the woman he would eventually call his wife, he had one idea—knitwear. And so, he began to make a handful of cashmere sweaters.
Dedicated to creating “Made in Italy” products rooted in modern design, quality and truly unique craftmanship, Brunello Cucinelli places people at the core of his business understanding that by providing unprecedented working conditions and healthy work-life balance, the result is a high-end product demanded by fashion icons, celebrities and shoppers around the globe. Cucinelli calls all of this a “humanistic enterprise in the world of industry,” whereby the concept of work is a full expression of the human being, the philosophical inquiry and care for workers.
41 years later and the brand is continuing to elevate its styles and services, from personalized shopping experiences that include VIP appointments in store as well as in-house tailor services and an elevated bar area and fireplace that can be experienced at the new Bal Harbour boutique.
The Fall Winter 2019 collection is currently showcased in the new space with an impeccable presentation of Brunello Cucinelli classics: lush cashmere knits in signature neutral hues, delicate scarves in an array of shades, elegant outer-wear and novelty pieces styled with a modern touch.
