Ara Vartanian
Ara Vartanian is part of a family affair with the jewelry world. Brazilian, of Armenian origin, he was born in Lebanon and moved to São Paulo when he was just 1 year old. He was raised in the midst of precious stones that his father traded and started working in the family business in 2000. In 2002, the brand that carries his name was born and in 2005 he decided to fly solo and opened his own atelier. As a designer, Ara Vartanian’s style of creating fine jewelry is very unique: he captures the essence of each stone. In this quest for uniqueness, he begins developing an intense relationship with the raw material. The gems give each piece of jewelry their own singular language. Bracelets, earrings, rings or necklaces may present rare shapes and sizes with stones personally chosen by the designer bringing surprising innovation.
