The Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen just opened its fifth boutique in North America at Bal Harbour Shops. ‘‘Bal Harbour Shops is a natural location for IWC, given its reputation as an iconic luxury destination. The opening of our new boutique is an exciting moment for IWC and showcases the dedication to our customers,” explains IWC Brand President of North America, Gianfranco D’Attis.

The new Bal Harbour boutique is not only a high profile retail location for the company’s much-coveted timepieces, but also an expression of its core values of innovation and engineering excellence. The boutique, designed by IWC’s in-house team of architects and designers, reflects IWC’s spirit and philosophy. Each of the company’s six watch families is displayed within the unique architectural envelope. The boutique features a mix of dark woods, set off against touches of white and chrome, reflecting the architectural style of its modern colonial surroundings. Every attention is given to fine detailing and craftsmanship, which further emphasizes the technical pioneering spirit for which IWC is globally renowned.

What's more, IWC boutiques present loyal clients and first-time buyers alike the opportunity to acquire one of the brand's most unique timepieces, as each boutique offers models unavailable anywhere else. For example, the Pilot's Top Gun Miramar and the Pilot's Spitfire Perpetual Calendar are two timepieces available at the Bal Harbour location. The Pilot's Top Gun Miramar chronograph features a military-style design and is characterized by classic military colors. Other features include a flyback function and protection against magnetic fields.

The Pilot's Spitfire Perpetual Calendar shows the date and month digitally in large numerals, and is inspired by instruments found in the cockpit, like the altimeter. The four-year leap year cycle is also shown digitally.
